English version in the Rare Birds in Spain website here Por diferentes razones conozco los autores de The Sound Approach desde hace unos años cuando Mark Constantine me invitó, gracias a Anthony McGeehan,   a formar parte de su equipo de bird-racing The Transatlantic Vagrants en la Great Texas   Birding Classic de 1999 supliendo (que responsabilidad!) a nada más ni nada menos que el editor de Dutch Birding , Arnoud van den Berg. The new set of recomendations from Association of European Records and Rarities Committees ( AERC ) from 2011 has been just issued in its website. There is a pdf document containing the full set of taxonomic and systematic reccomendations . Besides, the full Western Palearctic AERC list with official data from all member countries has been updated and include up to date information with accepted records coming from the different countries. WP list from AERC is in excel format here as well . The 2012 review of the List of the birds of Spain (currently in preparation) will include ALL these reccomendations include in the 2011 file and therefore they can be already considered in use in Spain.
