Un Arao Aliblanco (Cepphus grylle) se observó en El Puntal, Ría de Villaviciosa, Asturies del 31.8. al 2.9.2009 (descubierto por Adolfo Villaverde y Juan Zaldívar de forma independiente y observado por multiples autores). Existe una fotopágina especial en Rare Birds in Spain aquí. Se incluye en el blog el video proporcionado por Nacho Vega que da idea del comportamiento del ave cerca del espigón del Puntal. De homologarse sería la 4ª cita para España.
