The new set of recomendations from Association of European Records and Rarities Committees ( AERC ) from 2011 has been just issued in its website. There is a pdf document containing the full set of taxonomic and systematic reccomendations . Besides, the full Western Palearctic AERC list with official data from all member countries has been updated and include up to date information with accepted records coming from the different countries. WP list from AERC is in excel format here as well . The 2012 review of the List of the birds of Spain (currently in preparation) will include ALL these reccomendations include in the 2011 file and therefore they can be already considered in use in Spain. Crex crex 1w Torre Gran, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona 12.12.2011 © Ricard Gutiérrez El 12.12.2011 se ha liberado un 1w de Crex crex en la Torre Gran, al lado del río Llobregat, L'Hospitalet del Llobregat, dentro del delta del mismo nombre. El ave había sido recogida en el casco urbano de Barcelona con una fractura de cúbito el día 6.10.2011 (Agents Rurals de la Generalitat de Catalunya). Después de ser trasladado al Centro de Recuperación de Torreferrussa, el ave fue atendida y finalmente se pudo liberar el día 12.12.2011 portando la anilla 4154068. Se eligió las inmediaciones del río para facilitar la orientación del ave una vez liberada y también la zona en concreto por presentar pocos potenciales depredadores en el momento de la liberación. As usual it will contain a number of photographs, over 30, of particularly important records for that year. Its summary is included below Summary . - Report on rare birds in Spain 2009 . This is the 26th annual report of the Spanish rarities committee (Comité de Rarezas de SEO/BirdLife). This report includes 291 records on the presence of 89 rare bird taxa, with an acceptance rate of 75 %.
